How do I place an order?

Placing an order is quick and straightforward, just like any other online store.
• Browse our product range and select the item you need
• Choose your specifications (size, stock, finish, quantity, turnaround, delivery option)
• Add the item to your basket and proceed to checkout
• Once your order is placed, upload your artwork and approve your proof

Your order will then be processed and dispatched in white‑label packaging.

What are the cut off times for artwork approval?

For express orders, artwork must be approved before printing can begin.
For standard turnaround orders, artwork approval is required by 4:30pm.

Orders cannot proceed to production until artwork has been approved.

Who is responsible for checking artwork?

You are responsible for ensuring your artwork is correct before approval. This includes spelling, layout, colours, sizing, bleed, and resolution.

Once artwork has been approved and printing has started, changes are not possible.

If the final print does not match the approved proof due to a production error, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate.

Can I make changes or cancel my order?

If artwork has been approved but printing has not yet started, changes to specifications may require cancelling the original order and placing a new one, in line with our terms and conditions.

Once production has started, orders cannot be changed or cancelled.

What is your refund policy?

If there is an issue with your order, it will be reviewed in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Where goods are faulty, not as described, or do not meet the required standard, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with UK consumer law. We accept no responsibility for consequential losses except to a maximum of refund to the original payment.

As all products are custom‑made, personalised print items are not eligible for refunds once production has begun, unless a fault is identified.

What should I do if my payment fails?

If a payment fails, please take a screenshot of the error message and email it to contact@catbirduk.com, and our team will investigate and assist.

How do I accept a quote?

Quotes can be accepted directly through your online account. Please ensure you reference the correct quotation number when proceeding.

How long are quotes valid for?

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. If specifications change after this time, a revised quote may be required.

Why is VAT charged on some print products?

VAT depends on the content and intended use of the printed item. While many printed products are zero‑rated, items containing vouchers, tickets, forms, or promotional content may be classed as standard‑rated under HMRC rules.

What do your turnaround times mean?

Turnaround times start from artwork approval.
Express – printed and dispatched the next working day
1 working day – dispatched after one full working day
3–4 working days – dispatched within three to four working days

All turnaround times are estimates and depend on timely artwork approval.

How is delivery handled?

We use trusted courier services to deliver orders. Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by factors outside our control, such as courier delays.

Risk passes on delivery to courier. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us promptly so we can investigate and help resolve the issue.

Do you offer white label delivery?

Yes. All orders are dispatched in plain, unbranded packaging as standard, making them suitable for both direct customers and trade orders.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

We currently deliver within the UK only. We do not ship internationally or to Jersey, Guernsey, or the Republic of Ireland.
